This summer experience involved educators and specialists from our Catholic School Board in partnership with Development and Peace. The educators experienced a first hand look at the work of grass roots organizations in El Salvador and gained an appreciation and respect for their work. Groups like Cripdes and Cordes are involved in community projects there involving microcredit, organic farming and community youth work. The delegation also learned of the history and struggles of the people of El Salvador and gained a deeper sense of what solidarity means.
